Imagine my man Mourinho going to bed last night. Like a little proud kid remembering why he loves football so much.
The best thing of this game was Mourinho's answer when a reporter confronted him against the fact that Manchester City had 80% possesion to which he responded "They can take the ball home. I take the 3 points. "

Mourinho has a lot of things, both positive and negative. But if I have to choose one, then I know that,

*"He **_knows_** how to win."*

I can't wait for Chelsea vs Tottenham.

In 5th minutes of the game, Ndombele had both passing option: Kane or Son. While Kane drops deep which made Son pushes high. Ndombele picked Son as his passing option and end up in goal
I’m stealing this from Reddit btw

Last 3 matches between City and Spurs:

City: 71 shots, 21 on target, 2 goals

Spurs: 9 shots, 7 on target, 6 goals

I think this game moving son to the right wing is a great move. Son can exploit Cancelo with his pace but if son play on the left side, Walker will not be as easy to beat in a foot race.

Ferran Torres should become a striker rather than a winger. He’d be much more effective
Pep's view on controlling the game : we had more possession and more shots. We played very well but couldn't capitalize on our chances

Ruben dias view : At the end, controlling the game is being on top of it and winning

So in my opinion dias sounds more like a manager than Pep!!
I think another thing we can't underestimate with this result is the resolve and resilience this is going to create within Tottenham as a club. Jose has always thrived in that "us against everyone" mentality (Inter, Porto, Chelsea especially) and he's definitely found that environment with Spurs. Spurs have always been "punching above their weight" and fighting to be recognized as a big club, which creates the conditions for Jose to succeed, and once things start going his way (even a little bit) it's very difficult to stop. It's a brilliant appointment by Daniel Levy and I (even though I'm not a Spurs fan) am happy to see everything working out between them since they're both among the best in the game in their respective roles.

Mourinho was able to achieve this result simply by cutting supplies to De Bruyne and even after redrawing him from that position,he did the same job on Foden. He read the game better.👍

Really looking forward to spurs Vs Liverpool. Mourinho knows how to beat pep, and after a long time his team had the quality. He hasn't developed the formula to beat klopp though. Will be interesting

Phil Hayes
Phil Hayes:
I feel City played their all, by going full attacking mode with 8 players in the opposition box at times which required Spurs to “park the bus” , however it wasn’t just park the bus, the way Spurs counter attacked with few touches and passing the ball where it hurted City the most makes this victory so satisfying. City kept going and going, not allowing Spurs to have the ball by making huge pressure, they had to be clever with the little time they had the ball and that’s what they did. Defensively they hadn’t flinched, kept their concentration at all times.
Most importantly all 11 spurs men seemed to understand and execute Mou's tactics too well + that 30 second goal by the sub destroyed City's spirit.

Is pep reaching deadlock with his tactic? He should had learn how to attack from the wing and long ball from behind.
Basically, city xG is like a vaccine,it keeps rising slowly, while spurs xG is like an antiserum injection, brief but immediate effect
