Juventus vs Torino: The Oldest Derby in Italy's Serie A

Serie A champions Juventus are the most successful football club in Italian history. But as far as the fans of their local rivals Torino FC are concerned, Juventus aren't even the biggest club in the city. Kick off! reporter Tom Gennoy went to Turin to meet fans from Juventus and Torino. He experiences the fierce atmosphere of the historic Derby della Mole. Whose side are you on? Juventus or Torino? Wonderful video, it's hard to be a Torino FC fan, but we love our history and our colours. I saw my first match when I was 5 years old, And I remember that I could'nt understand this strange game, 22 crazy people running for a ball.... so far from my lovely chess. I asked to my father, wich one is Toro? And he told me "the team with Granata t-shirts", and I thought "thank's God, i just love this colour". SEMPRE FORZA TORO!

Nice video, though there is one incorrect detail. In fact, Juventus is historically the team supported by the working class, not Torino. The Agnelli family has always used the team also as a tool to foster a sense of belonging among FIAT workers, many of whom were immigrants from the South (and are often responsible for the spread of support for the team in other parts of the country). There is a trace of this in the comment of the Torino fan who say that "real people from Turin" are Torino fans. It is also rumoured that the postwar leaders of the Communist Party, Palmiro Togliatti and Enrico Berlinguer, were Juventus fans.

Ok, this is the Mole Derby seen through the eyes of a Torino's fan . Well done. What about Juventus? It is oldest (1897 vs 1906) won more derby (293 vs 237) , has more titles and infinitely more fans...Maybe try to get even in that dimension?

Turin has always been a “granata” city. Most Juventus fans are from south Italy, if u ask a man from Turin which team he supports he’s gonna say Torino. It’s not an urban myth, it’s the reality

Very little about Juventus, who are far more civilised as fans... you will rarely, if ever, find crowd trouble at a Juve match, while on the other hand, Torino fans are full of fire and verve. ALL Juve matches are practically sold out since clubs today encourage block tickets. So it makes sense that some matches at 9pm are only 80, 90% full... this is normal when the next day everyone needs to go to work early...And the last time Juventus WOMEN played Fiorentina, there were 45,000 at the stadium on a Saturday. This is very much a Torino perspective and so far from reality!

7:28 real comedian guy, he tells lies knowing he’s lying: is the “olimpico stadium” that is never full, never filled of fans (only 25000 seats capacity.....!!), not the Juventus Stadium.
The journalist G.Vaciago is pathetic fan not for sure impartial.
The reality is that Juventus fans are used to win tons of titles and they don’t care too much ‘’to show off’’ who is the majority in the city.
Just an example: when Juventus won his Ligue’s Title in 2012 after a long dark period, 500.000 people invaded the downtown city center with banners and flags to reiterate who is the power in Turin (and that’s happened the year later too). Ans majority were from Turin city!!!
So it’s an old joke to say “51% of fans are not black&white....”: old joke that torino’s fans love to repeat like a mantra to dream of something that can never be true.
We Turin’s well know this and we don’t need a funny lad from england to explain with a well done video like this.
